That's logic right there.
A half-baked Top Gear will just generate mass rolling of eyes, boredom, and those responsible will appear pathetic. They attempted it here in Australia, and I was embarrassed to watch more than a few minutes.
It lasted only a couple episodes.
Give a decent, original, American show the proper budget and let it take its own course.
