The sooner they can rid themselves of this insane fixed cost the better. BUt it looks like this will not happen, as Nazi Palosi is gunning to get the Feds to "save" the big 3 - ostensibly to save the workers, but the real reason is so tht the Unions can get their grubby hands on their $7 to $10 Billion trust payment now rather than risk not getting it.
