hello, anybody home? he's had the car for a while, and these are new noises.....

prepare for worse to come.... sounds like you are expecting it, and its an old car, and tons of problems..... it would be costly to fix it.... could be some serious issues ranging from a rod that is about to go, to seals that are blown, compression lost in cylinders... bottom end could be dying; the top end could be.

i'm not a technition; but a few people here are.
