I am very surprised that no one has mentioned the greatest supercar before the 1990's, the Porsche 959. Only the Ferrari Enzo, Carrera GT, Zonda, Mc Laren F1 and Koenigsegg are faster. It is still more technologically advanced than any save the F1 and they are now finally street legal in N.A. They are faster than any current Posche and although the turbo lag is a little bit much, you can fix that pretty easliy and they are so rare that no one ever sees one. Plus the design was so far ahead of its time that if you didn'tknow anything about cars you would ask if it is a current production car.
