I remember testing and then spending a few weeks with the 2.7l 325is in South Africa in the late 80's... was a great car then and is still a great light weight BMW sporty coupe now.

Is the US version also the 2.7l?

And when is BMW going to go back to its light weight roots? Well I guess the 1 series is a start, but I am turned off by the over-weight modern 5, I mean 3 series cars.

This car I like a lot.
