I've had major problems with controlling the cars even in a straight line.
When i use keyboard, the car's wheels can be turned in variable amounts.
But with a game controller, turning left or right locks the wheels completely. Somehow this makes driving much easier, as the car is more responsive.
The best way to see if a game is not really a simulation is to see if small children can play it well. Any children here to prove my theory
