RSVR is the 'trick' version of the RSV, the 'R' has Marchesini (sp?) wheels, Oehlins suspension, etc.

CBR900 has evolved since it's incarnation in the early nineties, model was revised in about 1999, going to a CBR929cc then a CBR954cc in 2002.

The later CBRs are more user friendly than the original CBR900 so I hear, they are very forgiving, stable, and don't headshake very easily.

I researched the CBR929RR very much as it was on my shortlist when I was buying my ZX7R (which I still havent provided custom pics of ops: )

The CBR would probably be the better streetbike, the RSVR the better track bike. Reliability-wise I would trust the Honda much more than the Aprilia.

My heart says Aprilia RSV, my head says CBR, if that makes sense
