I have the 2Meg Cable Line from Telewest (
http://www.telewest.co.uk/) and have the option to change it to either 512k, 1 Meg or back to 2Meg with 1 months notice.
If you are a big downloader then the extra ££'s for the 2meg line is worth it, otherwise 512k or 1Meg is enough
Standard charges are (per month)
512k - £30
1 Meg - £40
2 Meg - £55
They offer small discounts if you also sign up for their Phone and Digital TV Service
1Meg Internet, Digital TV and Phone Package = £60 per month (Saving £5)
