For someone who grew up completely without dubbing, except from animated childrens shows, I can't get it in my head that someone can get used to dubbing. Doesn't something seem funny when you se an english speaking actor speak spanish? I speak german and understand some dutch and french, and when I see some english speaking actor speak any of those, I simply can't watch the movie...it ruins the whole experience for me, and I get slightly pissed
I was once going to a german theatre with a friend of mine in Freiburg, but I left after 20minutes, it was just weird to see star wars in german.

what was ever wrong with subtitles? Here everything foreign is subtitled, and no dubbing. The children in elementary school here have english skills like a german high school kid.
