The Sun's not the most reliable source for information...

The Top Gear boys are off to Japan – The Land Of The Rising Clark-Sun.

Our columnist Jeremy told us: “We’ve never been there but I’ve always wanted to go. Let’s face it, they’re not short of cars for us to play with.”

The BBC2 team, including James May and Richard Hammond, hope to fly out next month to film.

For the GT-R, no doubt? They might was well do other things while they're there. Weird place, Japan.

TOP Gear star Jeremy Clarkson has been voted one of Britain’s top three unlikely SEX SYMBOLS.

The 47-year-old Sun columnist took third place in a survey of MISAs – Men I Secretly Adore.

He was beaten only by This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, 45, and 47-year-old chat show host Jonathan Ross.

DatingDirect.com asked 5,000 female members to name men who secretly set their pulses racing.

Others in the top ten were celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, new England boss Fabio Capello and Match Of The Day’s Gary Lineker.

TV veteran Bruce Forsyth, 79, finished tenth.

Despite his lofty placing, Clarkson was still grumpy he did not win.

He said: “So I beat a man who looks like Shrek (Capello), a man with ears the size of satellite dishes (Lineker), and a man who calls a spade a spade (Ramsay).

“Doesn’t say much.”

The Top Ten MISAs are: 1 Phillip Schofield; 2 Jonathan Ross; 3 Jeremy Clarkson; 4 Fabio Capello; 5 Trevor McDonald; 6. Gordon Ramsay; 7 Gary Lineker; 8 Michael Palin; 9 Terry Wogan and 10 Bruce Forsyth.
What's wrong with these people? Michael Palin and Terry Wogan are frighteningly old. Are dating services only for old women in the UK?
