Next up, some American Iron and American Iron Extreme cars. Each one is loosley based on an actual AI/X car I have found pictures of online. I stuck to the NASA rules, minimum 2700lbs weight, min 9.5lbs per HP (no power limit for AIX), max 275mm tyre widths (no max tyre width for AIX), no dry-sump, Toyo R888 DOT none slick type tyres (no compound limtis for AIX).
All the AI cars can be hussled around Laguna Seca in about 1:38s or so. The lone AIX car is good for about 1:34 or so. |
Dangit RC, you're way ahead of me on AI cars. That's pretty much my favorite type of car to set up in this game. In FM2, I only gave the S197 Mustang the AI treatment. Now with so many different generations of Camaros and Mustangs and even Challengers in FM3 there are all kinds of possibilities.
