As long as you are going in a straight line its tolerable but the moment there's a corner to take all hell breaks loose! And the weight was around 200 kgs., the petrol Enfield weighs around 168 Kgs. dry. Somebody asked about gas mileage and this was the only positive point about the bike as it was in the region of around 65 km/litre of diesel. If I was to chose between riding an Diesel Enfield & walking home, I would walk home everytime

Well there we have it chaps, first hand experience by the sounds of it. I think if I was going to have a classic styled bike I'd just buy a new Kawa W650 or one of the retro styled triumphs!
