The laws of physics still rule. Overweight and over powered means cooked brakes and tyres after a few laps. You have to divert the kinetic energy somewhere after the potential energy in the fuel is converted to torque and the car has built up insane speeds by the entry to the next corner and the braking mark approaches - some will be the heat out the brakes and then the tyres have the job of somehow maintaining grip.... eventually they will cook off - the heavier the car the sooner the tyres are toast.
