The Dark Knight - 9/10. Really very well done. The movie is much more of a character study of the Joker than the Batman in some ways, but that doesn't really take anything away from it. The movie is well-written, the dialogue between primary characters is good, and each event in the movie flows well from the preceding events. The Dark Knight has some very interesting social commentary and raises some interesting questions about the human condition. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but it is perhaps the best Batman movie to-date, as it is a proper stand-alone movie in and of itself, it just isn't quite as much of a Batman comic-book flick.
