My most recent viewings have been Street Kings, The Bank Job, Vantage Point and Hancock. Street Kings was pretty good and I enjoyed it as much as I could in a cramped aircraft seat with the fat woman in front reclining her seat to the max. The Bank Job I've talked about it the dedicated topic and that was close to movie of the year stuff for me. Vantage Point was incredibly confusing in the beginning and it really only came together towards the end. The end result was a disjointed movie that simply wasn't that enjoyable to watch. However, my parents have watched a DVD and they thought it was excellent. Perhaps it was the fat woman in front ruining my viewing experience.

I actually paid money to see Hancock. I wish I didn't. I went with an old mate of mine who I hadn't seen for awhile and we both thought it was rubbish. There were elements of a good plot brewing, but it was somehow lost. You can't blame the actors - it's just not a good movie and was never to be one.
