Default Arthur C Clarke dies at 90 years of age

http://entertainment.timesonline.co....cle3579120.ece

It was reported today that Arthur C Clarke has died. For us older science fiction fans, to us he was the greatest living science fiction writer.

In one of his stories he invented the geosynchronous satellite. He was the author of 2001 a Space Odessey. His greatest novel was Childhood's End which has never been made into a movie. Many of his short stories ended up in Playboy during its heday.

His imagination has fortold so many inventions that scientists will be working on his ideas forever.

He will be missed. RIP
