So I went to this new karting place near school. It's called K1 Speed and it's one of 4 places in SoCal (and Seattle). The chain's partly owned by Boris Said of SCCA, IMSA, and NASCAR fame. It's pretty cool. I've never been in a kart that requires you to wear a helmet and a head sock before, and man are those things fast. So, it cost me $15 for 14 laps + annual K1 Speed license for $5.50. My head's still woozy from all the lateral forces...
