Norway, denemark and finland is pretty bad. Sweden is on a european level. We have double taxes compared to europe on all cars under 1999cc and 176,99hp. Over that we have quadruple taxes.
Norway now bases most of it's car taxes on CO2, and pretty much if your car emits over 100g/km you're f***ed. S4, old RS6,Q7 and a lot of other cars got a serious jump in second hand prices because of the new CO2 import tax (valid from 01.01.07) the Q7 jumped around 13.000 euros (compared to today) (luckily we picked up ours before christmas) and the old RS6 even more.
The government is also pushing (forcing with taxes) everyone towards diesel cars because of their lower fuelconsumption, and have decided to increase road tax if you don't have a dieselparticle filter. They are also pushing a lot for biodiesel stations. But new diesel cars which have this emission reducing particle filter can NOT run on bio diesel... :wall:
screw the healthcare (only cheap in theory anyway).....
I have to move.
