What fascinates me about them is that with few $$$ you can buy lot of cars  and I think 1970-80-early 90 cars have such a charme. And usually you can buy and sell them without even loosing lot of money

TT, I'm assuming you're talking about sports cars of some kind. I'd be a little concerned about maintenance upkeep, the ability of parts and the reliability.
In the past, I've played around with a 1963 Chevy 409, a 1964 Chevy 409, a 1970 Chevy Chevelle 396 and a 1970 455 Pontiac GTO.
Routine maintenance was OK but extended repair probably would have been a pain. They were still very exciting cars!  Mags
