Lewis Hamilton could face-off against Michael Schumacher for the first time ever if he agrees to take part in this year's Race of Champions. Schumacher, who retired from F1 at the end of last season, has already agreed to compete in the 2007 RoC, which will take place at the Wembley Stadium on December 16. The competition includes the world's best motorsport competitors from F1, MotoGP, world rallying, touring cars and other series. David Coulthard and Jenson Button are two other F1 drivers who have signed up for this year's challenge. However, Hamilton, who has been approached, has yet to say yes, although RoC founder Fredrik Johnsson believes the opportunity to compete against Schumacher may be too great for the McLaren rookie to pass up on.
