hd is useless w/o at least 5.1 ... I've noticed the diff in sound quality more and more...for instance ever since I've started watching hockey in hd i can hear some of the sounds on the ice...in a recent pens game I heard Ruutu swearing at at the opposing bench...
...so yah sound is very important
