I'm really loving

the
firm ride of the
RS and the
other hard core differences between it and the 997 Turbo I had four months ago. The Turbo might have been faster but the RS is just so much
more outrageous looking  that the difference in E.T. performance just doesn't matter. Sometimes just looking good is more than half the battle. Just ask Pamela Anderson!
Now if you compare the
RS with the 2003
GT2 I had, well that's a slightly different story. BUT.... if they do remake the GT2, it should definitely have a wild and crazy wing like the GT3RS and some other differences from the GT3 than make it stand out as the
flagship 911 Porsche.
I took some pics with my camera phone of the RS being delivered on March 15th. They're only 1.3 megapix so the resolution may not be the greatest. I thought you'd enjoy the pics of the
size of the truck that delivered the RS and how meticulous, Bob, the driver was at unloading her. Bob wore overalls with no metal buttons or other exposed parts. Plus he had on special shoes with non slip soles. Really great care by him and his company! :good: He even had the RS covered (inside the trailer) with plastic so that no dust would settle on her! He told me the trailer was 70 or 80 ft. long and the tractor was 30 or 40 ft. long!!!
I had Bob deliver the RS to a
huge parking lot of a
restaurant/
night club I had owned. :silly: Wasn't one of my
more brilliant ideas! We are now leasing the building and a large portion of the parking lot is not being used. Bob had to turn in once and then jackknife the trailer again just to get his rig in the parking lot. That truck and trailer were
humongous! I hope you enjoy the pics.
Oh yeah... got the title and applied for the license plate. She should be here next week and I'll post some pics of the RSs rear end with it's new plate A.S.A.P. I need some
props to help set the scene and make it
stand out a little.
