Neither - if you could swing $15K for an open class bike, why not try swing $8K for a used pickup truck.. (or just put a tow hitch on the 240 if youkeep it...)

Then go swing $4K for a used Gixxer600... or R6 and then buy a cheap trailer.
Now you have the perfect "track day rig"
Buy all the right gear and spend every other weekend doing track days at MSR - the fact you actually ride/race your bike at the track will impress more guys and get you more pussy than just buying a Gixxer1K to wheelie up and down Westheimer...
Plus I dont want to have to come identify a buddies mangled body on I10 because some stunting schmuck got youhurt one a wild Friday night run..
