fell in love with this model first time a seen this at the edinburgh show last year.The de Havilland Mosquito my all time favourite plane,it is beautiful.the plane was made entirely of wood as there was a lack of aluminium(which is what most of the planes were made of at the time)hence was nicknamed "The Wooden Wonder" or "The Timber Terror".it was also the fastest plane at the time reaching 415 mph at 28,000 ft running 2 supercharged merlin V12's producing 1710bhp each,it was also the first plane to bomb berlin during world war 2 and also made Hermann Göring envious
the model is made of diecast,the bomb carrier is also made of metal as well as the stand due to how much the model weighs!
