Spied: 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 sans disguise
Spy photographers have snapped the first photos showing the new Porsche 911 GT2 without disguise. The new 997 model is expected to arrive late this year as a 2008 model.
Currently undergoing testing in the snow of northern Scandinavia, one can hear the GT2's unmistakable sound from some distance distance.
While the all-wheel-drive 997 Turbo delivers 480 horsepower, the rear-wheel-drive GT2 will come up with between 500 and 525 horsepower. Weighing some 220 to 330 pounds less than the Turbo, the GT2 promises to become the ultimate 911.

With the Carrera GT in supercar heaven, this will undoubtedly be the ultimate Porsche! Just in time to strike fear in the Gallardo Superleggera and F430 CS (or is the GT3 RS a better match?)!
