they repeatedly write that the laptime over the NS isn't very surprising since on such a long track the drivers daily form and other factors like temp ect are a bigger factor than on the shorter track. also you can see that it gained half a second on the GT3 on the Hockenheim ring. there the writer says that the higher downforce shows better results in the laptime.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Think of all the times that Koenigsegg CCX did the NS... fist 7:39, then 7:34 when it was cold out... and SA suggesting the car would be able to do 7:28- 7:29 in optimum track conditions.
