Cool, congrats! The crowntails are neat looking, but the double tails look downright astonishing.





nice looking fish there. I have never seen a beta in such a large tank... i thought there was some sort of reason for them being in small enclosures... cant remember.
Pet stores only do that to save shelf space. The bigger the tank you can provide, the better. Larger volumes of water are easier to care for since it takes longer for the water chemistry to change.

Congrats again, make sure to keep an eye on him while adding tankmates. He might decide he wants to live alone and go bat shit crazy and start harassing and killing his roomates.
