Went there in 2004 with a compact cam, this year I had to bring a proper camera with me
I never followed this championship but the atmosphere is just amazing, such beasts around the track, beer everywhere, sausages ... German style
There are some famous pilots in there, Frentzen (started in pole position to finish 14th), Häkkinen, Alesi or Nikki Lauda's son Mathias.
Arrived there at 9AM, little warm up, wet track, Häkkinen turned his C class into a lawnmower.

The proper DTM race, not a lot of pictures but I had taken everything I wanted in the morning, time to enjoy the race instead instead of my viewfinder

It was possible to win a couple of laps in so-called DTM renn taxis. This SLK55 is a Black Edition.
Driver's parade, Audi brought a shitload of RS4 convertible while MB instead of bringing that 722 SLR I hoped for ... went for a CLK DTM convertible.
