No shit it's still in good condition. Tanks back then were all about the thick stainless steel. The only thing worrying me is those idiots standing so close to that cable. My dad was an officer and I remember him once telling me about them performing a similar drill to get a tank out of a river. The cable snapped and cut a guy in half.

Yup. . . you never stand so freaking close to a cable that has tension. Once that baby snaps, there goes 1/2 the forrest and everyone else that is in the way.
But I think that they got some of those new cables that just fall to the ground when it snaps. Not sure if this is one of them or not.
