Haha, exactly. I have seen the Edo cars at many venues here in Germany and never have I seen them driven to the track. They always are brought in their decked out Edo Comp semi truck. As for the test not so sure it did it with street tires or not still looking for an article about this "fastest lap". If Edo can make such a car, pretty much a race car with blinkers, why don't they race in the 24 hrs of the 'Ring? A fast one lap is one thing but a reliable car doing fast laps over 24 hrs is another.

components from the GT1 = reliable, "only" an extra 50 hp = reliable.... of course, you never know what will happen in a race.
