alcohol has a tendency to rob things of water content. using that assumption rehydrating w/ water before sleeping will minimize or illiminate your hangover.

drink a glass of water for every two beers, 2 shots, or 2 glasses of wine etc. you wont get a hangover at all

This actually works. I spent a week of hedonism in New Zealand recently, and never got a hangover. A general health standard (according to the leaflet we were given), is not to have more than 24 standard drinks in a week.
