Nah its still there, alot of good roads have none, more and more just get a GPS device and brake when the damn thing bleeps at ya , almost fun in some ways. Oh and from what i've heard the fixed cameras barely generate anything because they cost so much, road deaths don't appear to be coming down, utterly pointless for the most part, they should just keep them all near schools etc where they serve a purpose, discouraging the crap 4x4 drivers from speeding!
