Yeah, I tried a dozen times on a lot of straights, but no, it wouldn't go down to a lower gear. The gearshift let you choose from the traditional P, N and D, and then there was a 3, and an L, so I wonder if it was only a 4 gear slushbox? I wonder if the L was 1st gear, or was it 2nd?
I think the car was ok apart from that. There's a lot of other cars which I think do the job better, but if you can live with some compromises, the looks more then make up for it. It was also quite comfortable inside. Too bad we didn't have more time to drive it (I only got 30 minutes), otherwise I'd have taken it out to the woods and tried the back seat for more action with my GF, hehehehhehehe
