that is definetly one of the things that scares me about getting a bike. I haven't had road rash since i was 12 and caught a squirrel in my front wheel  (still dont' know how the little bastard timed that )

bicycle bike, or motorcycle bike??
when i was younger, and fearless; i found myself doing things i likely wouldnt even think about these days on bicycles. if anybody's been to Petoskey, MI, there is a rather large hill on M31 going from the casino towared the hospital/downtown that i would do high speed runs on... once a car popped out of a gas station, and iw as about to hit, so i turned hard right, and didtched the bike... slid nearly 80 ft. before coming to a stop. (no helmet) i got up, washed myself off in the gas station, and rode the bike home. not nearly as bad as what happened to gob3s, and corpse_grinder...
