I seriously doubt that older F1 cars would be faster than the 2004 spec car - even if you account for 1500 bhp cars from the 80s and also slick versus grooved tires.
The F2004 with its superior aero grip and decent mechanical grip would be way faster. When trying to compare times across decades, keep in mind that the circuit configuration would have changed with the addition of chicanes particularly since 1994.... |
you read it wrong there mate... i meant 70s indy cars were faster than 70s F1
there no way in hell that they are the same now
