I have to say that I am genuinely surprised to see the in-gear acceleration of the M5 being faster than the E55. I know on a track the M5 will naturally be much faster and more entertaining, but with the comparative lack of torque and emphasis on top end performance I would have expected the E55 to be faster in the middle gears..
