At last I actually got around to watching the piece. (had ISP issues for 5 days now)

Well - knowing how these cars behave - inside out - and being intimately in the know about GM quality (or lack there of) and service - I now know how all the "other" car enthusiasts feel when Jeremy and crew talk shit about the cars they test (or not test, as the case may be.. )

Listening to the commentary was like watching a Micheal Moore movie... sure the words being spoken were partly factual - but the sentences were strung together in such a way as to tell a story very different from the truth.

From the "plasticky" inside comments to the "bendy bumper" show-piece, to the "leaf-spring" false-hood and the "clunky shifter" fakery... it is clear that these guys are just in it for the show business.

Think of it as Jerry Springer for cars...

Now back to the actual driving - what a fucking crock of shit. When a Euro car gets all sideways they "coo" and "awe" and admire it's oversteering power delivery and explain it away as "being so powerful"... yet here they blame it on the cars "leaf springs".

Last time I heard, locking up the brakes is a DRIVER issue, not a car issue.

Remember all those stories about how bad the Vipers brakes were - when it was just people not knowing how to work them?

Perhaps the Stig went into the bend way quicker that he is normally used to...

But anyway - back to trashing the Circus crew... I laughed at their "drag" lineup... a hair-dresser could drive better than that...
