Good stuff, although the first season was the worst. They were still trying to iron out the characters, including KITT. Hell, KITT still had the square voice box.
antonioledesma, that mode you are talking about was called "Super Pursuit Mode"
KITT was equipped with it after a major rebuild in the two part episode when he was destroyed in an acid pool. KITT also got convertible mode in that same episode.
I actually liked KARR more than I liked KITT.
