The first time I saw pictures of the Spyder I wasn't too impressed. The first chance I got to see one was in february of 2001 at the AutoRAI in Amsterdam and they completely blew me away. They look so much better in real life. The detailing is astonishing. I spent nearly an hour looking at them (Spyder and Laviolette), dicovering new details all the time. No wonder Jay Kay ordered a Spyder after he saw it.
I'm also impressed with all the luxury while the weight is still low at 1100 kg.
The Double 12 doesn't really do anything for me. The rear end is simply too long. It's done for aerodynamic purposes. After all, when it comes to racing form follows function.
My personal favourite is the Laviolette.
