So both Williams- and Toyota cars were illegal during qualification aswell

This sucks. Another frikkin FIA mess.
I am with you on this levensnevel! Why couldn't the FIA do something about it while the car was locked in Parc Ferme - meaning give Williams and Toyota the opportunity to change the brake ducts before the race (assuming they have the legal parts). After the race is over they issue this statement thereby wasting both teams efforts on Sunday.
Williams, brakes and Canada have become a real nightmare combination - Last year it was fading, marginal brakes that did it for the team. This year it is illegal brakes.
