Very very nice engine.....and the interior is nicely modded too ...
what's the top speed of this car tho, it better have a highway gear set for the gumball. |
a great car but i dont think its suited for the gumball... to many straights.
|
i agree with oscar the Enzo (from what ive heard) will blow the doors off that car!
|
nice cossie
it's always nice to see highley modified cars in a field of "off the shelf" supercars. i believe in the american gumball these was a highley modified wrx once, aswell as a r33gtr skyline from the UK |
Loony... I remeber that name
|
I think I have a few videos of that Ford..... great car!!

This is from www.gumball.no
"Team 132 now reports that the King of Marocco have given orders to the police that the Gumballers can go as fast as they want, without beeing "disturbed". Team 132 reports live from the spooky side of 200kph, now hitting speeds of above 260kph as the police is just waving to them! Many of the faster cars are hitting speeds of above 300kph "A quite surreal experience" Team 132 reports" This happened in Morocco "BREAKING NEWS: Team 132 just reported a new accident just minutes ago. The car involved is a rally-rigged Ford Cosworth who flipped over 100m ahead of Team 132. Both drivers are injured, with one in need of first aid. Luckily, both drivers should be fine! The Cosworth is reported total wreckage. We will be back with more information as soon as possible. " This is what it said on www.gumball.no. The text seems to be removed know. What I know there's only this Reyland-Cosworth and a swedish Cosworth participating. I guess it's the Reyland-Cosworth that has crashed. I really hope the guy in need of first aid wasn't seriously injured. Another text from www.gumball.no "Team 132 reports from the way to Marocco that there have been an accident, involving a yellow Gumball Lamborghini and a normal "civilian" car. The Lamborghihi had damages in the front, left on the road shoulder, the other car had a lot more damage... The civilians here are obviously not used to high speeds, as the civilian car changed lanes without looking, as the Lambo was comin' up from behind in a "hurry". Nobody were injured in the accident, but it's not sure if the Lambo can continue the Rally." On the same site it also says that a red enzo crashed in spain on 7th and retired. The yellow enzo got a flat tire in Morocco on 7th. I've also read that a red Ferrari (think it's a red 360 spider) crashed against a tractor. I've also read that Porsche 911 gt3 blew his engine and hit the rails. Both of these occured in Morocco I think. I hope people are driving safe even though they are allowed going at high speed. You can drive fast and still practice safe driving but maybee this "no speed limit" announcement in Morocco made people take too big risks. If injuries are too frequent in these rallies I fear that they will be forced to stop organizing them in the future completely. Most importantly though is that all the drivers involved in accidents in the gumball 3000, both participants of the race and civilians, aren't seriously injured and that there won't be more crashes. Have fun driving, but don't drive over your own abilities. Use common sense and drive safe, especially when driving fast. |
