Z8 in 2006
 

I saw it here that there will be a new Z8 in 2006...anyone knows any info

about the upcomming Z8???

I have seen pics of the suposedly Z9, the one that has doors that open both normally and upwards but that is all I have heard.

That would be a sweet car, what kind of engine do you think it will have...do you think they would use the v10 from the M5?

The Z9 was a concept car that was introduced in 2001 (maybe 2000), sorry I forgot the year. Anyways it was to show off Bangle's new theme of Flaming Curves, with its convex and concave surfaces. The styling cue from that car made it into the current Z4, the new 1 series, and some elements to the 6 and 5 series.

But most notable the Z4 was pretty much a direct derivative from the Z9.

As far as I know, I don't think that there is another rag top roadster coming from BMW anytime soon. I think the 6 Series and the 6 Series convertiable pretty much taken up that place in the market.

I haven't heard anything about this and I don't believe it
for one second. BMW wanted the Z8 to be a limited pro-
duction car that would become a valuable classic eventually,
not an everyday car.

Wonder if BMW can make it below 1500kg......+ V10 500hp.....now that's a super car
