dumb noob question about drivers

recently the drivers for my windows media player haven't been good, and everytime i try to resize a video the computer crashes. i understand that there's supposed to be a crash analysis upon reboot but there isn't any and i can't remember where to go to update the drivers for my shit. can anyone tell me where?

What video card you have? Could be the video card driver instead of WMP, something related to the overlay resizing.

If you don't know what you have for a video card, go to Run, type in dxdiag.exe and it will tell you all the info you need. I would check with other players as well, it may be a codec issue as well. I suggest using BS Player, and VideoLAN (comes with codecs built in).

Is that a joke? Whats a video card? Video cards shows you everything on your screen. You wouldn't have any picture on your monitor without one.

Start<Run<dxdiag.exe
