Well yes.. similar, but it's not easy to create many different shapes for a simple front grill I suppose :D
|
I did see a comment (someone, somewhere) on the web that went something like,
"Maybach is only an S-Class with a Korean grill!" I hated it (the grill) from day ONE |
Hyundai and KIA are copying the design of other manufacturers. Have you seen the KIA Amanti? It looks like a combination of Jag S-type, Mercedes S class and Toyota??

The funniest thing is, THAT HYUNDAI WAS FIRST  (of course,in a post-war times).
Despite all its luxury, i think Maybach is not well-styled.I agree with a GreenHex opinion.MB S-class is much more beatiful, its a really wonderful and luxurious design.Maybach is maybe more comfortable and rare, but more boring also. :turn-l: |
The headlights look exactly the same as those in the E-class
and I'm not quite sure about the look of that front chrome grill may be they're not very proud of their work that they didn't even bother to put the KIA badge on the front grill  |
I hate the way the Maybach looks, but i feel that is missing the point somewhat.
The Maybach is meant to be passengered in, not to look at. For comfort, nothing can beat it's reclining seats and combination of speed and comfortable ride. |
ok, wasen't actualy hyundai that was responsable for bringing back the maybach, name?
im sure someone will be able to back me up on this. and also kia has a terrable habbit of ripping off other manufacutr's, they even produce a WRX clone here in australia.. very very pathetic. |
