LOL don't worry, it isn't pointless :D I saw most of them, but sadly can't find time to read.. I'm here with the new evo for the past days and only managed to read the first pages so far... but they are worth IMO!

Wow,what a review, it does seem that everybody is saying that the Porsche scrapes the front on most normal roads, so I guess I will have to buy the Challenge Stradale in this case for normal roads and then buy the GT3 RS for the track.

thanks for the scans man :)
they're all much appreciated and interesting

SPEEDKILLAR 03-16-2004 01:30 PM

Thaaaaaaaaanks  , I'll start reading it and give my opinion when my fucking internet
connection starts working optimally :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

I find it ridiculous that they like the GT3's looks over the Stradale. But oh well, they had the common sense to recognize it as the better road car in the end. I cannot wait for the next gen 360, itll have gained so much from the Stradale.

Great article indeed, I would pefer the RS over the Turob, glass windows over lexan, and Ferrari over Porsche :) Cheers

Thx noosee

I take the 360 hands down. But a very interesting article none the less with lots of details explaining to the layman why these cars are so much MORE than their originals!

Thanks Noose for the article. It raised an interesting point about the Stradale's suspension being more compliant and better able to handle road imperfections. Based on other readings and Nurbergring results, I would have guessed the opposite was true as the Nurbergring is famous for upsetting non-compliant suspensions.

Based on the slower times I would have guessed that to be one of the reasons for the Stradale's slower times but it sound like it is the result of lower torque and traction that doesn't allow it to be propelled out of corners like the RS.

The traction is there. It just takes skill to put down.

Great scans!
Keep them coming. :D

Oh, and I´ll take the Stradale!
I think it´s only a question of passion, chosing between these two...

This is certainly an article I've been waiting for. A comparson between the two most track based versions of the 2 most known supercars! Will read this asap (after my examns probably). thx nosee!!!

I really like the concept of the RS, and the price is great!

But the Gt-3 really is a track car, and the Ferrari 360 CS too, so a track comparison would have been good.

What I dont like about the GT-3 RS version, are the frigging colors. Its as if Porsche is trying to mock the people who buy them... Pink and baby blue give me a brake! and dont get me started on those rims....

Offcourse if the British roads are that crap (mind you the German roads are getting worse, but not yet as bad as they are in Britian) then maybe Porsche should release the GT-3 RS with a slighty different suspension setup for the brits, atleast have it as an option.

But damn those colors... btw why do car makers always restrict the choice for consumers on the "special editions".. The Ferrari CS is only available in red, or red with those racing stripes... I dont understand why I could not have the car in black (same for the Porsche).. not that I can afford them yet.

Great article, thanks. I would rather own the GT3 RS, but give me the NSX-R over both.

I have this mag at home, and one thing struck me whilst reading it.

Why on the second page does the Porsche have "58" in the registration. The "58" registration plates are not due until September 2008 in the UK, so why is it there on these pics :?:

I think the journalists use these plates so that they can speed without the police getting their correct plates.

What do you think :?:
