Hong Kong Ferrari meet entered Guinness World Records ...

Ferrari heaven ... lines of Ferrari sports cars are displayed outside the Sha Tin race course in Hong Kong. Some 125 Ferrari cars were brought there by their owners for a place in the Guinness World Book of Records. Photo AFP

are "only" 125 Ferraris together already Guinness Book of Records Record.... I think there are more Ferraris together at a Ferrari day at the Nurnbergring or Mugello!!!

That's awesome. Anyone wanna guess what the most popular Ferrari color is? =)

Pretty strange.. the 125 should be a typo because it's sure impressive, but doesn't seem able to enter the Guinness book of recordrs..

Hum, Guinness World Book, i don't really trust them for everything, just look at the fastest car in production or the woman with the more alcohol in blood to see what i mean...

i know for a fact that the concorso(spelling) italiano has at least 300/400 ferraris i was there last year.

I think it's the record for the longest Ferrari lineup in a charity parade (not the largest Ferrari meet)
btw, i've heard that they have 9 Enzos in Hong Kong.... makes me drooling coz' i don't think I could even spot one in Vancouver, lol

There likely have been larger gatherings, but with world records, you have to have "officials" there that verify everything. So, while other events might actually have had more cars there (because yeah, 125 Ferraris is like a nightclub's parking lot in LA), it was apparently enough for an "official" record on the books.

I just put pictures up of Concorso from last year:

and the Ferrari fairway was packed:

parade=going from point a to point b

the guy standing beside the enzo.. he owns it,, he is aron kwok.... hk popstar

adlinyusman 03-02-2004 12:31 AM

Yea i saw this posted on the ferrari chat room. Amazing, but other countries have had more meets. But i doubt any country has done a parade with so many cars which will definately cause a massive traffic jam due to the fact that it's all Ferraris!

stracing 03-02-2004 02:24 AM

oh fuck me....i just missed it by a day
