I think its because people in North America don't want to buy an expensive Nissan like people don't want to buy an expensive Honda or Toyota. Thats why there are the Infiniti, Acura and Lexus luxury divisions.

Is that any difference between the Infiniti G35 coupe and the Skyline? from the engine spec. or the interior?

Whats the big deal about a Skyline? Would the G35 considered to be a better car if it was called a Skyline here as well?

i think the skyline has a better brand image than the G35, even though it shares the same platform... the skyline GTR is a street GT car :fadein:

I just don't get the mentality... I'm not a fan of Skyline's at all, I'm not saying its a bad car or anything but its just too mainstream and everyone is drooling on them because some1 at some point just over rated them... just like the american cars in europe, when people see a mustang or a camaro they go nuts...

Its nothing special, look at how many skyline's are in japan and being trown out...

Simple answer: it has amazing performance and is also practical. If that doesn't make a car worthy of accolades I don't know what does. The fact that you said it's nothing special leads me to believe you're not very familiar with them. They're not much to look at but technically they're very sophisticated. Also they sounds terrific-far better than a 996TT or bmw M3 could dream of.
