Isaac Newton would have a fit followed by a nervous breakdown

And they didn't even use the prepped end of the racetrack... mind boggling.

It's a Porsche, thats what they do. I will be surprised if all his tinkering will really make the car that much faster while maintaining its impecable manners.

I had the chance to spend an afternoon with a Cayenne Turbo a couple years back - and that truck had some electronic tweeks to loosen its legs a little bit - and it was stupidly fast.

For an SUV, rediculousy composed and so understated and refined. That is the Porsche mystique - just slapping bigger turbos and upping the boost might make it "wilder", but I can't really see him making the Panamera much "faster".

My list of "Must haves if I win the lotto" now inludes 4 cars.

Ruf Rt12
Carrera GT
Cayenne Turbo

and now

Panamera Turbo

The Ruf and CGT I can understand, even the Panamera (if you have an extended family) but I never had you down for a Cayenne RC!

Until I drove it, I barely even acknowledged that it was a real car - but there is just something about a truck that is that fast and composed. I believe I phoned nth while i was driving it back from the track, trying my best to chase a Carrera GT and Ruf tweaked 996 GT3 - i gave him a running commentary as I literally blew the doors off a couple Boxsters, Mustand Cobra or 2 and anything else that got in the way - all the while being on the phone and making sure the labrador in the back seat wasnt being tossed about too much ;)

It was sublime... I can see how the "regular" Cayenne might be a total slug, but the black tweaked Turbo was downright evil. (although I never could keep up with the CGT and GT3)

I think there were two CGT's you were chasing... the porker, and a Bentley. I also seem to recall your description at the time

Something like that :)
