Is it me or does the front of this look very ASTON--ISH??
 

The new XK-RS. I know ford owns Aston and Jag,,, but this Jag looks like an aston. OR could it just be me?

well the db7 and xk8 were penned at the same time by the same guy and based on the same platform i believe, so it isnt too much of a coincidence

What is the plan here...the money goes to the same place...so they make two similar cars built on the same base,,,, so there is twice the chance of someone buying one of the cars?

i believe they're both based off teh old old XJS platform...both companies are owned by ford...so prolly some cost cutting...they're probably relying on teh fact that an aston is an aston and the ppl will buy them cuz of that

I think it looks like a miata

when i first saw this car, it reminded me of a spyker.
XKR and DB7 have always looked a bit like each other, both gorgeous. i dont really like this, its a bit too agressive, and an open car for racing? bs in my opinion, unless its specially built for it, like F1/ LMP cars
