evo/Harris drives the LFA in the UK

...and here's the Stig lapping the LFA:

Hes got a very good point. For the super rich who are in the market for a car like this, the price shouldn't make much of a difference. I love that V10 sound! This car is certainly on my short list of dream cars. I cant wait till the 1:18th scale model comes out.

Give me a 599, DBS or 458 any day over that.

I would take the lf-a over them all lighter better handling and the engine in the lf-a is awesome.

You think is lighter than a 458? I cant ignore the price and that is a glorified Toyota :( I love the sound it makes and the performance is there, but the competition is too good.
For $ 400 000 you can get a lot of better cars.
For GTX1
Lamborghini LP640 and LP560 or Superleggera
599 faster
ZR1 faster
DBS not sure
Audi R8 V10 not sure
Viper SRT10 ACR faster
Ferrari 458 Italia faster
and there are more.
Thats just my opinion :)

enzoferrari 02-18-2010 01:14 PM

This would be my choice.

MidEngine4Life 02-20-2010 03:47 AM

The 458 is a nice car, but I cant handle that ass. Its hideous. The DBS isnt as clean and beautiful as a DB9 its just so busy. A ZR1 is a piece of cheap plastic with a big engine in it. The 599 is boring, ugly, and trying too hard to be a corvette. a viper is a mess in the corners. The Audi R8 V10....i cant argue with that, the lambo murcielago isnt that good looking, the gallardo is, but it isnt as fast. Im a millionare...im still buying the LFA...and the R8 and the Gallardo lol. Maybe im a sucker for V10s

My short list of dream cars (Money is no issue like the future owners of the LFA)

1. McLaren F1
2. Lexus LFA
3. Maserati Gran Turismo S
4. Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
5. TVR Sagaris

OK you don't like the 458, but you think the DBS is too busy ??!!! have you look at the Toyota/Lexus front and back ?? seriously ? I like the LF-A but its too much crap in one car, the ZR1 would eat your Toyota alive for 300K less, you think the 599 is boring that's OK ,but you think is trying to be a corvette, that's just funny , I believe that you know about the ACR ?? one of the best performance cars out there, a Lamborghini Murcielago is not as good looking as a Lexus LF-A ?? seriously
I guess its a matter of taste.

MidEngine4Life 02-21-2010 03:27 PM

Yes, it is a matter of taste. And If I were rich, Id buy the LFA. period

enzoferrari 02-21-2010 06:25 PM

Yeah, then its based in taste not in performance, money can't buy taste.

The LFA has the slowest shifting 'semi-automatic' since BMW's SMG-I. Brutal!!

VW has had DSG in production for how many years now??

I think once you see the LFA's times on the Nurburgring, reality will set in rather quickly .

But it sounds cool... they engineered the dashboard to channel sound towards you - so it may be slow, but it will sound great doing it hehe

A technology first engineered in the S197 Mustang, I may add.

Not to mention that the Mustang was also the first patented (and used under license to Nissan in the GTR) use of Plasma coated cylinder walls. Sometimes the neat innovations happen with a cheap pony car...
